Our tour in India was fascinating. We enjoyed it very much, our overall appreciation of the fine job your agency did in organizing everything, the whole 28 days program, which was of course not an easy task to put together, including hotels, air flights, guides and drivers, and have it all work out so well!

All guides were very professional, we got along very well with all of them, but very specially with Amrit in Amritsar and Sanjay in Aurangabad, with whom we had very interesting "philosophical" discussions over everyday life in India.

Our drivers in Rajastan (Sangrit...? Sorry, I'm not sure this is the correct name...) and in Southern India (Shiva...well, his name is easy to remember...) were VERY good and safe drivers, also very nice persons and we had very pleasant conversations all along our journeys.
 
All hotels were very good, the Oberois of course were outstanding. Driving on Indian roads was of course long, but for us it turned out to be very interesting, as we could see a little of how people live in smaller towns and villages we crossed, and having time to exchange views with the drivers.

We wish to thank you very much for having helped us plan our visit to India and for having organized everything very satisfactorily.

I appreciate very much your mail with all the information regarding our evaluation of our trip and I am glad to have the opportunity to send you more details about our stay in India.

The Oberoi hotels are marvelous and their service extraordinary. We enjoy our stay in all of them and it’s really difficult to choose which one is the best. Also the Hotel in Jaisalmer was excellent as well and Jodhpur was lovely. We had a great Kebab Grill dinner there and the facilities are beautiful!

In regard to the road trip to Udaipur, indeed it was strenuous and if exists the possibility to fly from Jodhpur to Udaipur it would be better. Nevertheless, I think that we experienced some distractions in the route that extended unnecessarily the whole trip.  But the rest of the road trips were good and we enjoyed the landscape.

You mentioned that you would like to know about our experience in India and I am happy to share with you our impressions.

India is a unique country in many aspects. We are extremely impressed by the marvelous historical heritage your country has and we mentioned to all our guides that we didn’t understand why India is not promoting abroad the wonders you have. All the Palaces, Fortresses and historical sites we visited are marvelous and astonishing.

It’s not just the Taj Mahal but so many different places which are fabulous that we have no words to express  our admiration. In regard to the Taj Mahal, it was an emotional experience to be there. Sincerely, I had dreamt in my life many times to have the opportunity to visit the Taj and of course I had seen many movies about it. But being there is totally different than watching a picture, movies, etcetera. When we passed the building where you see it for the first time, it was absolutely emotional. It’s so beautiful!! And the architecture is so  grandiose that gives you chills. I couldn’t believe what I was observing. It was great!!!

But then is the Red Fort. And the Amber Fort and Fatehpur Sikri and Qutub Minar and the Jodhpur Fort and the blue city and …… endless wonders!! Of course we enjoyed very much in the Thar desert and the Camel ride to admire the sunset in the dunes. Everything was magnificent. Expression apart is the admiration for your ancestors’ architecture. Extraordinary everywhere!!!

Notwithstanding, our admiration  it’s not just for the places. It’s also the people! We love the people, their peace, their friendliness and their spirituality and religiosity and we admire the way the people accept their fate as well as the way of coexistence with the animals. Walking in the streets of the markets is fascinating and the whole trip made me accountable for 2500 photos!!

Varanasi was another incredible experience. This city is unique and impressed us very much. Again, the devotion observed there is amazing. Navigating the Ganga Ma was fascinating and so interesting. To summarize, I can tell you that we have not been in any other country in the world such as India.

The devotion of the people of India to their Gods  and the way their destiny is accepted is so different with respect to our country, that cause us a big  impact and admiration.

I could be writing the whole night about our impressions but to summarize and not bore you, this has been one of the most interesting trips we have made in our lives. We have been in the five continents last year and this was the first time in India. As a conclusion I can tell you that we never have had an experience such as this one before.

With respect to your service, it’s the best in the world I ever experienced. We love travelling and personally I attend all the details with our travel agency when organizing our trips. We have been in many places in the world, but never had before  a service like yours. You have done a marvelous work and your organization is fascinating. All the details you consider and put attention to are sensational. The folder with all the details of the trip, extremely useful. Well, I cannot describe all the singularities that you were preoccupied  about that surprised us every day during our journey. And for all that, our greatest appreciation and thanks.

We would love to come back in the future and visit the South of India. And then, we would like to apply to your advice and services to organize such a trip. Many people mentioned to us that Kerala is wonderful as well as Goa, but I think that being you the experts, you can give us better ideas than we can find out.

I wanted to write sooner than later and say that, apart from the weather today on Jaipur, we're having a terrific time and the arrangements are working out perfectly. Before I forgot I particularly wanted to mention the guide and driver (Wasim & Gopi) in Varanasi. They were exemplary. Our train to Agra was 3 hours late and they stayed with us until 12:30 and made sure that we got onto the train. We knew that they still had long journeys to get home and then had to be up for 5:30 Ghat tour the next day.

Elizabeth and I enjoyed our Maglev tour immensely! And we cannot thank you enough for your careful attention to every detail. Our guides and drivers were fine, especially the first half of the tour, and the hotels were well chosen. Probably the high point of the tour for us was the houseboat trip our last evening. This was a beautiful experience, and gave us a chance to relax and "wind down" before we returned for a four-day final visit with our family in Hyderabad. You live in a wonderful country, full of surprises and vast diversities. We have tasted only a smattering, and hope to return for other visits in the future!

All the representatives and associate were excellent. Vehicles were in excellent condition. A very good tour overall except the last hotel that we didn’t like and were shifted to another property so it worked out positively in the end.. We have toured several countries extensively and know such issues come up but doesn’t matter as long as it is fixed right then and it was ! We enjoyed India and will definitely come back !

It has been thrilling to be in India. Before we could realize, 2 weeks just zipped through. Every place we went to was different. We chose to go to diverse regions in India as we had heard that all 4 sides ( East, West, North and South) were different in culture, people and natural beauty. The representative of Maglev, helped us in carefully identifying the locations and it turned out to be a real treat. Here are our scores:

Hotels – Outstanding, Road travel – Average (road conditions not too good),Food – Indian food was difficult to eat, so our tour organizers had arranged our type of stuff,Sight seeing – Thrilling, A+ to India and Good job Maglev !!

Good hotels… The best was Rambag Palace at Japiur. The 2 days made me feel like an Indian King and we were pampered like one. We wanted elite treatment and we were given just the kind of service. Unfortunately, my communication to Maglev of arranging for a Luxury Sedan came a little later, after the tour was booked and we were about to leave our house for the Airport. When we arrived in India, we had a beautiful Mercedes waiting for us. Never thought India can be so organized…This is not my first trip to India. But it was the first for my wife and kids. Rajasthan, Delhi, Agra, Varanasi at first came to us a culture shock, but our guide Rajeev explained the reasons beautifully and we found ourselves to be a part of the country within a few days. It was a smooth and truly memorable trip. I am trying to upload a few videos of our tour, on UTube. Thanks Maglev, it was very comfortable.

Brazil is a country where we are accustomed to see an open culture. We had no idea that a country can have so many values and contrasting cultures as compared to our country. To take us through our journey, Maglev proved to be a wonderful comrade. It is truly a diverse country with thousands of languages, clothes and yeah…colours. I have spent half my life in the U.K and was mesmerized by the culture there, but what I saw in India swept me off my feet. The massages, spiritual sessions at one of the hotels I stayed, Yoga… I can’t explain, but I am a new person after returning from that journey. You have to be there to experience it. I strongly recommend India to all of you. But be selective about the places you want to go, I would suggest you call the Maglev helpline and take guidance from them. Good people to talk to and travel with.

Thanks a million, Dennis. You have been a fabulous connoisseur for us. I was expecting very little before leaving from London, as I had received reviews from a few of my friends of how berserk could be our travel to India. It was totally the opposite, when we reached there. We got access to places that many people we met, didn’t even know about. You need to have really good knowledge about the location, to be able to get us to the places, where we went. We were a group of 29, in the middle of a Jungle at Jim Corbett National Park and we were surprised to get the kind of hospitality we received there. Everywhere we went in India, we were greeted by a smiling representative ( I wonder if they ever gets tired of smiling) and were there with us through everything. At the beginning of the tour we were briefed to take care of our belongings (as they are not liable to compensate for lost and stolen items). When we reached Amar Fort, my friend (Andrew Blott) realized that his camera was stolen (which apparently he had left inside the bus which was allotted to us), our Tour Manager (Girish) got all the authorities to be on their toes and find the camera for us (something that they were not even responsible for). It was Girish who found it in the bus and instead of getting annoyed, smiled and mentioned that, “In India, we believe a guest is second to god”. Heart touching experience. I think I have written enough. If any of you reading are thinking about making your way to India, the time is nosw. Go ahead. I would say Maglev, all the way.

This trip was the most emotional trip of my life. My parents are from India, but I was born and brought up in the UK. I stepped in to India for the first time, that too after my parent’s death. Back to my home town, in Kerala. All my life I have been hearing about how difficult it is to travel around in India, hence we booked it through you. I only wanted to go to Alleppey to see off my ancestral property as I have always been wanting to be there. Thanks to you guys that you recommended Munnar, Kumarakom, Ooty and all those other places in the south. Honestly speaking I never knew traveling in India would be so much fun, enriching and it was all just because of you guys ! Hats Off !!!
