DAY 01 : Welcome to India

India Gate is a memorial to the brave soldiers who were killed in the World War I.  It is build in shape of an arch that is 42 meters in height, and is called the ‘All India War Memorial’. It is considered as the national monument of the country and forms a vital component of the sightseeing in Delhi.  The monument comprises of an eternal flame dedicated to the Indian soldiers. Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in the country, with a capacity to accommodate 25000 devotees at a time. It was built under the reign of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1656 AD. It is also called the Friday congregational mosque because people of the Islam faith turn up in large numbers to offer their prayers on Fridays. The mosque is a great example of architectural expertise that existed during the Mughal period. It is a blend of both Hindu and Mughal style of architecture. Qutub Minar

The Qutub Minar is claimed to be the tallest brick minaret in the world and is a must visit during sightseeing in Delhi. The minaret is 234 feet high and the highest individual tower in the world, with other towers being the Great Pagoda in Pekin, China and the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.

It was built by the founder of the slave dynasty named ‘Qutub-ud-din Aibak’ in the 12th century to honor the victory of a Mughal King Mohammed Ghori over the Rajputs. It was completed in the 13th century by his son-in-law and successor Iltutmish.  Built exclusively in red brick and sandstone, this minaret is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic architecture and is today a pat of the UNESCO World Heritage Site community.  It has often been viewed as a symbol of the military might of the Turko-Afghan dynasty.

Day 03: Drive to 'The Pink City of Jaipur'

After a leisurely breakfast, you will start your drive for 'The Pink City' of Jaipur (264 kms / 5 to 6 hrs) where a representative from Alluring India Tour will meet you and assist with your check-in. Day 04: A Tour of The City of Jaipur.

The City Palace is a living example of the royal heritage from the glorious Indian history. While the current king and his family still reside in a part of the palace, the other part is open for the visitors to admire and know about the royal India it has always been! Jantar Mantar

The words ‘Jantar Mantar’ have several interesting meanings as per the Hindi dictionary. The word ‘Jantar’ refers to an instrument whereas the word ‘Mantar’ means to calculate or consult. Sometimes the word Mantar also refers to ‘witchcraft’. However, it actually means an instrument used to calculate and is basically an observatory used to measure time, predict eclipses and to ascertain other astronomical events. There are five such observatories in India with this one at Jaipur being the largest. Jantar Mantar is also believed to have the world’s largest stone observatory. Hawa Mahal Hawa Mahal

This monument is one of the favorites in Alluring India Tour's list of Jaipur sightseeing. The plan of the Hawa Mahal or the ‘Palace of Winds’ was initiated in the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. However, it was his grandson Sawai Pratap Singh, son of Maharaja Sawai Madhosingh I, who built the Hawa Mahal in 1799 as a continuation of the Royal City Palace. It is a five storied pyramid shaped building made with 953 small windows. These windows are made in pink sand stone and are known as ‘Jharokhas’. The windows are decorated with tiny lattice work and actually resemble a giant honeycomb. The multiple windows keep the palace cool even in summers and was basically used by the royal women of the palace. There is an imperial door connecting the Hawa Mahal to the City palace.

Day 05: Drive to Agra - The City that hosts the 'Symbol of Love' - TAJ MAHAL.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will start your drive for Agra (233 kms/ 5 hrs). You can do all but can't help holding your breath to get a glimpse of the dome shaped building that is one of highest visited monuments in South Asia. However, you will have to be patient for today, as you will be checking in to the hotel and relax for the evening. 

However, if you choose not to wait for the next day, you can opt for a visit to the Taj Mahal during the Sunset.

The ‘Agra Fort’ was built by the great Mughal Emperor ‘Akbar’. While the Taj Mahal is said to adorn the city of Agra with its beautiful architecture in white marble, the magnificent Agra Fort built in red sandstone is yet another jewel of the Mughal architecture that forms an important part of the sightseeing in Agra. This massive fort is considered as the predecessor of the Delhi Red fort and its wall stretches upto 2.5 kms. Day 07: Flight to 'The Spiritual Capital of India' - Varanasi.

No matter how heavy the breakfast will be, this morning at the hotel; The next destination will make you feel lighter - 'Spiritually'. Let's check out to board a flight to Varanasi, also known as 'The City of Temples'.


Varanasi, known by many names such as Kashi, Benaras & Banaras, is an important pilgrim destination in India and is situated on the banks of the holy river ‘Ganga’ (Ganges). Varanasi is believed to be more than 5000 years old, which means that it is not only the oldest city in India but also one of the oldest living civilizations in the world.

Our representative shall be waiting to receive you at the Varanasi airport and shall assist you with your check-in at the hotel. After a bit of relaxation, you shall proceed for the River Ganges to enjoy the evening Aarti at the Ghats. After the Aarti ceremony, you would be able to enjoy a sumptuous dinner at banks of Ganges river, in one of the ancient haveli hotels. Traditional Indian food served in silver dinnerware is quite an experience.

Day 08: Tour of the Ghats of Varanasi & Sarnath.

Drive to Dashashwamedh Ghat early in the morning and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. After the holy visit, drive through the most famous Banaras Hindu University of India.

Return to your hotel and relax until lunch time. Post Lunch you shall proceed for the sightseeing tour of Sarnath. It is the place where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon. There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath.

Sarnath is a small town situated  approx. 10 kms. from Varanasi. After attaining enlightenment  at Bodhgaya, Lord Buddha travelled to Sarnath. This town became popular because this is the place where Gautama Buddha preached his first sermon which is popularly referred to as the ‘Maha Dharm Chakra Parivartan’.

Day 09: Flight to Kathmandu - Nepal.

Have your breakfast at the hotel & board your flight for Katmandu.

Day 10: The Tour of Kathmandu.

Have your breakfast at the hotel and get set to proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.

Patan is protected by UNESCO world heritage site. Patan is the second largest city in the valley. It is some time referred to as Lalitpur, which means city of beauty. A golden spire crowning a conical wooded hill, Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Bouddhanath is one of the world’s largest stupa and is generally acknowledged to be the most important Tibetan Buddhist monument outside Tibet.  The temple of Pashupatinath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated 5 Kms. East of Kathmandu on the banks of sacred Bagmati river.

Day 11: Drive to Pokhra - Nepal.

Have your breakfast at the hotel & start your drive for and later start your drive for Pokhra. (230 kms /5 hrs).  


Pokhra is the 2nd largest city in Nepal. This city boasts of its stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks, several beautiful lakes and also is a home to hindu & Buddhist temples, and church. The city is considered even more a mystical place than Kathmandu. Pokhra is mainly known for adventure tourism as it is the base for the famous Annapurna Circuit trek.

After arriving at Pokhra, check in at the hotel and rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 12: The Tour of Pokhra.

We start our day with the early morning visit to Sarangkot for the fabulous sunrise. After the spectacular sunrise, we drive back to our hotel to start our remaining activities for the day with the breakfast at the hotel and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Pokhra.

The Old Bazaar, Pokhara's traditional bazaar is colorful and so are its ethnically diverse traders. The place remains bustling with traders from not only Nepal but also from places as far as Kashmir, Tibet, Ladakh and China. Annapurna Museum, the Natural History Museum is located at Prithvi Narayan Campus east of the old bazaar. Phewa Lake is situated at an altitude of 784m above the sea level with an island temple at the middle of the lake. Davi's waterfall is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep garge, leaping through several potholes. Barahi Temple is the most important religious monument in Pokhara, this two -stories pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector's deity representing the female force - Shakti.

Day 13:Drive back to Kathmandu.

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Kathmandu. (158 kms. / 5-6 hrs.)

On arrival at Kathmandu, check in at the hotel and explore the colourful local markets. Also visit the Durbar Square which is the historic seat of royalty, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people.

Day 14: Flight back to Delhi to connect to your flight back home or to the next destination.

After having breakfast in the hotel, you shall be transferred to the airport to board your flight for Delhi.  On your arrival at Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will help you with your transfer to the hotel where you can wash and change. 

Your vehicle will be waiting for you at the hotel, to drop you to the airport to catch a flight back home or to the next destination.
