What to See
Apart from the Royal Bengal Tiget, Bandhavgarh houses a rich diverse flora and fauna. The forest areas are covered by the trees of Sal and Bamboo and the river banks area is extremely fertile. One will find high grasslands across the park. Out of the several species of animals found here, some of the popular ones are the barking deer, leopards, wild boars, white tiget and Bengal tigers. Many species of birds can also be found here including birds like dove, parakeet, vultures, saras crane etc. There are also reptiles like the cobra, ratsnake, python turtle and different types of lizards.
Best Time to visit
Bandhavgarh National Park is best experienced during the winter months from November to March. Many guests also visit in April but temperatures start getting warmer as it is the start of summer season in India. The park is closed from July to mid October as it is monsoon season in India.
