What to See
This is one of the parks famous for the ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’, which are only found in India and its neighboring country Bangladesh. As per the last census survey carried out three years ago in 2014, the total number of tigers were estimated to be approx. 62. Apart from the Royal Bengal Tigers, one can also see other animals like the Leopard, Sambar, Wild boar etc. Everyday two safaris are organized by the forest department. One is in the morning starting around 6 am. and the other is in the afternoon around 3pm.
Best Time to visit
Undoubtedly the best season to visit such parks is winters between November to March. The park remains closed during monsoons between June to September.
