Like the other cities in Sri-Lanka, Kandy can also be visited throughout the year but monsoons can effect the sightseeing and can be avoided. Monsoons last from June to October. Post monsoons, it is a good time as the area gets lush green, waterfalls are full and so are the lakes which add to the beauty of the landscape.
