Navaratri

| Celebrate the victory of good over evil |

Navaratri is a nine-night long festival honoring Goddess Durga, in all her manifestations. According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva took on the form of Durga to destroy the demon Mahishasura. She is thus worshipped as a protective mother who battles evil forces. The festival comes to an end with Dusshera on the tenth day.
