The best time to visit India is definitely the winter months between November to March. However, the travel months for the educational tours completely depend on the objectives of the study and thus the destinations selected accordingly. Northern parts of India can get very hot in summer months of April to June, with temperatures going upto forty eight degrees centigrade. Most cities in North India aresuggested to be avoided during the hot summer months of April to June, as it increases risks of heat strokes. July to September are the monsoon months and unless required for a particular type of study, these months can be avoided for travel to India.
