Luxury beach holidays in India can't get any better than when combined with a Bollywood tour and the majestic palaces of the south! The bling of Bollywood and grandeur of the palaces in south India, makes this one of the best luxury beach holidays in India. This luxurious holiday will take you from Mumbai, popularly known as 'Bollywood' due to its huge film making industry, to the beach capital of India - Goa. Besides being popular for luxury beach holidays, Goa is also famous for its architecture and food, especially sea food. Portuguese architecture can be prominently seen across the state of Goa..Yes, Goa is an entire state and just a city! One cannot resist to fall in love with the beaches and the culture there.
Bollywood Tours are as famous as the beaches in India! What many people do not know is that Bollywood is not any one specific location that can be visited in a couple of hours. It involves many events and activities. While the standard tourist bus tours takes you to a few shooting locations and drive through the front of the famous Bollywood actors' houses, a private tour is much more intense. It takes you to studios and even behind the screens, where one can see the technicians working or conducting out a shoot of a soap opera or a movie. On one's lucky day, one may also spot a few celebrities shooting on the sets.
The palaces in the south of India are very different than those in the northern parts of the country. While a prominent architecture seen in Rajasthan is the Rajput style, in south one can see Indo-saracenic architecture which is a fusion of Persian and native Indian styles. The Falaknuma Palace of Hyderabad is even a mix of Tudor and Italian style of architecture as it was designed by an English Architect. It is spread over thirty two acres of land and was home to the Nizam of Hyderabad. Now it is converted into a luxury palace hotel.

Luxury beach holidays in India can be best experienced during the months of winter season i.e. from November to March. First week of December is the most ideal. The temperature ranges between 8 to 22 degree Celsius. Unless one intends to celebrate Christmas & New Year in India, one may consider avoiding the super peak dates between 20th December to 10th January, for luxury beach holidays in India. While the summer sun is too hot for sun bathing in May or June, the monsoon rains are also not a good season to visit beaches. Most of the beach shacks remain closed during monsoon time from June to September. Even the beaches do not permit visitors going in the sea as the sea often turns violent.
Bollywood tours are usually half day or full day tours and need to be booked in advance. There are group tours mostly crowded by domestic tourists and there are private tours like the ones offered by Alluring India. Only in private Bollywood tours, one gets to visit studios and observe behind the scenes work about the various technology and methods used in the Bollywood film industry of India.
Luxury beach holidays are mostly covered by flights between various destinations. In this tour, the cities of Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad and Bangalore can be all connected with direct flights. Bangalore and Mysore can be covered by road as it is a driving distance of around three to four hours. For international connections, one can either check for outbound flights from Bangalore (depending on the destination) or fly back to Mumbai which has better and more outbound flights than Bangalore.
