Delhi is the starting point of most luxury Rajasthan tours and so it is for this one too, from where you will drive to Mandawa on the third day to explore its beautiful ancient ‘Havelis’, which are smaller than palaces but their architecture is at par with some of the best Palaces of India. Mandawa is mostly used as a one night stop-over city to break the long journey between Bikaner and Delhi. All destinations except Mandawa and Pushkar will have two nights to explore the bigger Palaces of India. However, the program is easily customizable and number of days in each city can be altered. For a relaxed and comfortable Rajasthan luxury tour, it is advisable to spend a min. of two nights in most destinations as there is a lot of road travel. Important Information

As mentioned above, Luxury Rajasthan tours including Palaces of India can be best experienced during winter months from November to March. Since this program includes a visit to the desert cities, the desert areas get very hot during summer months of April to June and also humid during monsoons until September. Temperatures soar to over forty five degrees Celsius during peak summer months. If you are unable to travel during months of November to February, then the next best option would be September. September is end of monsoons but weather is still pleasant as compared to peak summer months between April to June. Rajasthan does not see a lot of rainfall but still with the receding monsoons, one can enjoy the Palaces of India and view lush green landscapes everywhere which is a pretty soothing sight.

It is important to note that luxury Rajasthan tours including visit to the best Palaces of India are mostly covered by road. A vehicle is appointed from Delhi, that takes you to all the cities in Rajasthan and then back in Delhi. Thankfully the routes are not meandering hills to cause motion sickness but if someone is having severe motion sickness, then they should come fully prepared for this program. In such a scenario, an alternate can be worked out by including flights wherever possible. However, smaller cities like Pushkar, Agra and Mandawa do not have an airport. Even Jaialsmer and Bikaner have only small crafts operating that are hardly 9 seater or so. These places do not have big commercial airports like Jaipur, Jodhpur or Udaipur. Hence, it is best to contact a travel expert at Alluring India Tour and share your complete requirements and preferences to get a tailor-made program designed for you.
