17 Nights & 18 DaysDestinations : Delhi – Mandawa – Bikaner – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Pushkar – Jaipur – Agra – Delhi
‘Sages, Sovereigns & Sagas’ is one of the most preferred luxury Rajasthan tours, operated during the winter months of November to March. This luxury Rajasthan itinerary will take you on a wonderful journey of the majestic forts and palaces, a rich culture, heritage, and the stories of the Rajputs and the elegant structures built by them. Besides Rajasthan, one will also get to visit the city of the Taj Mahal - Agra and the capital city of India - New Delhi.
This itinerary is one of the most comprehensive luxury Rajasthan tours as it covers the seven main destinations of Rajasthan in a single program. Each of the destination covered in this tour has its own specialty. While Jaipur, the capital city of the state of Rajasthan is called the 'Pink city' due its large number of buildings colored pink, the city of Jodhpur is called the 'Blue city' due to a large number of buildings painted blue. Similarly Udaipur is often called the 'White city' and also the 'City of Lakes' or 'Venice of the east'. Jaisalmer and Bikaner are the desert cities famous for their intricately designed 'havelis' or small palaces. Mandawa is a small town but rich in architecture and also serves as a stop-over destination on the way to Bikaner from New Delhi. Pushkar houses the country's only 'Brahma' temple and is popular for its Pushkar camel fair help every year in November. All of these cities combined offer every reason that one should opt for the luxury Rajasthan tours on their visit to India! Like all our other luxury Rajasthan tours, this tour can also be customized to add or reduce the number of days and destinations.

Program SummaryDelhi is the starting point of most luxury Rajasthan tours and so it is for this one too, from where you will drive to Mandawa on the third day to explore its beautiful ancient ‘Havelis’. Mandawa is mostly used as a one night stop-over city to break the long journey between Bikaner and Delhi. All destinations except Mandawa and Pushkar will have two nights. However, the program is easily customizable and number of days in each city can be increased or reduced. For a relaxed and comfortable Rajasthan luxury tour, it is advisable to spend a minimum of two nights in most destinations as there is a lot of road travel. Unlike other luxury Rajasthan tours, this one has a visit to Agra- the city of the Taj Mahal towards the end of the tour, after covering the entire state of Rajasthan.
ExclusionsPersonal expenses such as beverages, camera charges telephone calls, portage, excess luggage, laundry charges & all other items of personal nature | Food & drinks not forming part of itinerary | Return airfare from home country | Travel insurance | Any supplements for festive season like Pushkar Fair, Christmas, New Year | Any other item which is not specifically included in ‘tour cost includes’ section.
As mentioned above, Luxury Rajasthan tours can be best experienced during winter months from November to March. Since this program includes a visit to the desert cities, the desert areas get very hot during summer months of April to June and also humid during monsoons until September. Temperatures soar to over forty five degrees Celsius during peak summer months. If you are unable to travel during months of November to February, then the next best option would be September. September is end of monsoons but weather is still pleasant as compared to peak summer months between April to June. Rajasthan does not see a lot of rainfall but still with the receding monsoons, one can view lush green landscapes everywhere which is a pretty soothing sight.
It is important to note that luxury Rajasthan tours are mostly covered by road. Mostly a vehicle is appointed from Delhi that takes you to all the cities in Rajasthan and then back in Delhi. Thankfully the routes are not meandering hills to cause motion sickness but if someone is having severe motion sickness, then they should not opt for this program. In such scenario, an alternate can be worked out by including flights wherever possible. However, smaller cities like Pushkar, Agra and Mandawa do not have an airport. Even Jaialsmer and Bikaner have only small crafts operating that are hardly 9 seater or so. These places do not have big commercial airports like Jaipur, Jodhpur or Udaipur. Hence, it is best to contact a travel expert at Alluring India Tour and share your complete requirements and preferences to get a tailor-made program designed for you.
